The Rising: A Resurrection Album is a new project by Melanie Penn, set to release September 19, 2025. 

The Rising is a collection of original songs that depict that period of time between Christ’s burial and His ascension - all based on the Gospel writings. Each song is written from the first person perspective from someone who was actually there - Peter, Thomas, Mary Magdalene and others!
